Adora Svitak

Adora Svitek is passionate about inspiring other children to read, write and use technology to enhance learning. She uses her creative writing to explore all areas of learning and believes that reading and the ability to write well open the doors of imagination and education. At age seven, Adora produces thousands of words of fiction, non-fiction and poetry every week and, as she develops her own career as an author, hopes that this book will inspire other children to imagine and explore a better future through the joy of writing.

Adora lives with her busy, happy family in Redmond, Washington. Her mother, Joyce, has played a large part in Adora’s education and contributed—along with fascinating mother-daughter interviews--coaching tips and material for parents and teachers to Adora’s first book, “Flying Fingers.”

Adora has appeared on Good Morning Americaand many other programs to showcase her incredible writing ability and to encourage children to read and write.
