Algis BudrysAlgis Budrys's career has spanned 50 years and is still charting new ground. As a writer, editor, publisher, literary agent and teacher, his work continues to expand and enrich the worlds of science fiction and fantasy literature. His novels have been nominated for both Hugo and Nebula awards and "Who?", a classic sf novel, was made into a motion picture starring Elliot Gould and Trevor Howard. Among his many published works are Who?, Michaelmas, The Amsirs and The Iron Thorn, Rogue Moon and short story collections Blood and Burning, Budrys' Inferno, and The Unexpected Dimension. When not traveling the country to lead writing seminars (which is most of the time), Algis lives in Illinois where he continues to write, edit and, as always, promote the careers of talented new science fiction and fantasy writers as a teacher, friend and literary agent. |
