We don't know whether Politicards inspired the Pentagon (their deck wasn't very funny) but we do know that Politicards inspired a lot of laughs--and the popularity of collectible political cartoon art on playing cards. Artist Peter Green he created the first deck back in 1972 (now a rare collectible) and teamed-up with Action Publishing and political humorist, Christopher Smith, to create Politicards 1996 and Politicards 2000. For 2004 presidential election Peter created Politicards 2004 adding all the latest political players.
